Handiwork

Back out in the shop again today. Things are quiet. Putting a few finishing touches on a large project that has been years in the making.

Work is really good lately. Finding a whole lot more time to create after eliminating all of the non-creative steps in the process. It is a wonder that it took this long to figure this out. But, right now things are steady enough that taking the time to wonder about figuring is a low priority.

The next project on deck is just doing it and seeing if this clears up the stuff that used to derail so much time into wondering and figuring.

Nighttime Design Initiative

Congratulations to Leni Schwendinger on her latest endeavors. On May 16th, she announced to London and to the world the International Nighttime Design Initiative. Then as a follow-up, she presented at the pilot launch of the El Space Forum in NYC.

Can’t wait to see where these fantastic pilot designs may take you.

Designers

Designers get their hands dirty. They get into the work. They dive into the code. They jump into the deep end and then start figuring out how to paddle.

Designers are the ones that don’t just theorize their solution, they live it. They get that if their theories aren’t able to be realized, then what’s the point?

Designers are the ones that stand on newly finished designs.

New designs are under way. Stay tuned for features from the designers making it happen.

West

DSC_1140

All indications are that we’re heading west. We’ve received a number of invitations for the fall to connect and participate in Outerblue conversations. It is such a thrill when you begin to see dreams take shape. Connections lead to conversations which lead to collaborations leading finally to contributions. These contributions make all the difference in the world. They are the first real glimpses of a reality that exists beyond our wildest dreams. Time to hit the road. Westward bound!

Galleries

theSpace Galleries are now opening everywhere. Sometimes, this is not as easily recognized as maybe it should be. Maybe, it is because we are just too busy to slow down for a moment and look out the window. However, if you have the chance to take a more leisurely little roadtripN tour around the areas and take in the sights, you’re going to see some masterpieces that are so good they’re unable to be fully captured. Hit the road, the galleries are open 24/7.
