Mobile

Roadtrip Rolls On

This picture offers a friendly reminder that local mobile is ever changing. What used to carry the small business owner back and forth to the shop and to his or her customers is probably not working as well as it used to. In fact, it may even be so broken that you have resigned yourself and are now considering nothing more than turning the old way into a roadside art attraction. Just saying it can happen to even the best of Cadillacs.

We’re now out and about exploring with small business owners some new ideas how to make lemonade out of lemons. See the change that is happening can be the worst thing that ever happened or the best thing depending solely on whether or not you find new ways to change too.

We’re not saying it is gonna be easy. We’re just saying it is gonna be.

Local Connection

After 15 years of full service and express car washing, it just felt like it was time for a break. Times were changing and the writing was on the wall. Local business, it seemed, was going roadtripN for a while as everyone pulled stakes and dove headfirst into their mobile phones. Time to pull up a hammock and sway in the breeze for a while. Time to get away from it all and let the dust settle a little.

That lasted all of about three weeks. It wasn’t necessarily the car washing that we missed. We missed the sense of community and belonging. We missed the creating something different and unique and local with flavor and creativity that stood out from the pack. But, just what to create?

So, we traveled and we traveled. We went to a variety of trade shows. We read up on the newest trends and listened to the myriad of views as to what the future holds in store. We dabbled a little here and there. We painted, wrote, swam, and nearly drowned.

Then, we had the eureka moment. Back to the canvas, time to throw all in to go against the grain. Put everything into bringing local connection back. Put everything in because the world is gonna miss the little guys, the mom and pops, the zany ideas they have if we don’t come together with a way to embrace our local ecosystems again.

We’re back! We’re not done roadtripN. It is part of the package. But from here on out to wherever this road is taking us, we’re going to give everything we can muster to highlight the small business next door. Honestly, we don’t know if the small biz is going to win. We just can’t stomach what seems will happen if he and she can’t find a place to at least make a healthy go at it.

We love local connection! It’s the why we now see for washing cars for all those years. We’re back in the local mobile game starting from the hub we know so well. Tap us on the shoulder, we’re ready to push alongside.

Local

love

Spreading the love going door to door. We will go anywhere we’re requested to come and share the way that we’ve found to Owderblue.

We do so for a number of reasons.

First, we know what it was like. We have experienced the sense of desperation and loneliness that breaks our heart for fellow sufferers. We have experienced the effects that accompany the illness. Broken relationships, broken promises, broken finances, broken spirits. We know the road.

We have a pretty good line on what happened too. We can share with some clarity on when we began to see a change. We have seen a similar path walked by a number of other people which lends some confidence that this is a route that can be tried by most of us. We can share the solution that we’ve found working as we approach on a daily basis.

Finally, we go wherever because we can’t contain our gratitude. We have been hopeless. Now, we have hope. We are open to receive any invitation to share this hope with others.

Markets

Soon to be just around the corner in a market near you. If you are located anywhere in the world, we are just a phone call away. If you are located anywhere in the world, we are just a skype or Go-to meeting or Google hangout away. If you are located anywhere in the world that is able to be visited by car, boat, airplane, and even a short hike, we’re open to explore how we may come to visit.

We are serious about this. We will come door-to-door to share our hope and our gratitude if this may help others find the way Owderblue. Connect with us today.

Traffic

Wild-Ebeast

Come by and say hello! Yes, there’s traffic that gets in the way. There’s things to do, things that seem more important, things that get in the way of accepting the invitation. We understand. We found it hard to stop by and say hello for the longest time.

But, then the road came to a standstill. A near dead stop. We wanted to move. The traffic was moving. But, we weren’t. Our heads raced around like Indy cars. Our feet stuck in neutral. It is a strange sensation when we are faced with this kind of traffic jam.

Here’s what we’ve seen and experienced. The traffic changed when we asked for help. We’re not saying that all of the sudden every lane opened up and we were back to normal. In fact, far from it.

However, the traffic did change. It was like we had hold of the choke on the engine. When we asked for some help and direction, it felt like the choke was slowly releasing. It felt like maybe there was some hope for the streets being cleared. It felt like just maybe these other drivers had been here too. The lanes didn’t just open up by extending our hands, but for the first time in a long time there seemed a possibility of Owderblue. For the first time in a long time, there was hope.
